NOTE: Except for orders of small items, most of the products we ship are mailed via USPS Media Mail. This is a space available mail which works well most of the year and helps us keep shipping costs to a minimum. However, when mail volumes increase, as will happen around the Christmas holidays, Media Mail can often be delayed. If you are ordering items that are time sensitive, please call us at 303-456-4564 to make sure that the items are in stock and that we select the best shipping options for your needs.
3-29-10: In the past, customers who placed orders through our web site were charged as soon as the order was entered. We have changed that arrangement. We now charge customers only when their items are shipped. That is now a permanent policy.
6-1-09: Effective today we have slightgly increased the domestic USPS shipping charge from $4.75 for the first item to $5.00 for the first item. We have not changed our shipping charges through several USPS increases, but feel we must adjust our charges at this time.
2-9-09: We have modified the web site shipping cart by adding "BILL TO" and "SHIP TO" sections to the check-out page. This will especially be useful around the holidays when customers order products to be shipped to friends and relatives. We have also added a "SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS" box where customers may add instructions about their orders. Occasionally, customers will order items that they need by a certain date. There was no way of informing us of this information. Now there is. Today is the first day the new cart has been on line. It has been thoroughly tested, but there may be bugs. Please report any problems.
12-9-08. We have been making some changes to our web site. We have added a direct link to our contributor information page. Previously, one had to click on "calendars" then click on "Calendar Contributor Info." We made it much easier to get to that information . You'll see the new link on the left side of your screen. If you have a desire to share your photographic work in our calendars or books (we pay $75 for one-time use of your photos in our calendars), please click on the camera and visit this page.
2-9-09: We have started work on Volume 5 in our Santa in Color Series which will cover the Santa Fe Railway in the State of Arizona. We do have some photo needs. If you have some images that can "fill in some holes," we'd like to hear from you. Just click on the camera on our web site and that will take you to the page where our needs are listed. At this time, we do not have a publication date, but we need the photos in the next couple of months.
12-13-08. We have added USPS Priority Mail as a shipping option. The rate is based on the weight of the package and will be calculated by the web site program with a minimum charge of $10.00. Unless this faster service is needed, you should consider choosing the USPS Media Mail/First Class option. Light items (13 ounces or less), such as one to three DVDs, will be shipped first class mail while heavier items, such as books and calendars will be shipped media mail.
WIth ever increasing UPS rates, we are forced to discontinue our free shipping policy for orders amounting to $150 or more where UPS is the requested shipper. We will continue the $150.00 policy for orders shipped USPS. We apologize for any inconvenience. Note: This applies to mail, phone, web site and fax orders.

company. The name of the game is customer satisfaction
and we hope with this site we are taking a step in bettering
that aspect of our business. We really want to be your
source for quality books, DVDs, atlases, and calendars.
We now have a secure dedicated server hosting our web site. Our system was starting to slow down in November 2007 and some customers were reporting problems. Our server people were able to speed things up for the holiday season, but we were advised that we should switch to a secure dedicated server. Though much more expensive, we now have a system that is unaffected by the actions of others. We had a few teething problems, but the new server went on line Monday, December 17. Hope you will or have noticed the difference. We plan other changes in 2008 to make the site even better for our customers.

now being shipped with all orders is #157 in effect from 6-10-10 through 9-30-10, unless superceded.
